Confirm cards with undo
Before Speechy's notch assistant sends an email, posts a message or adds an event on your Mac, it shows a card that looks like that app: Gmail's compose window, a Slack message, a calendar event. Edit any field, then press Return or say a change. After you OK it, a 3 second countdown with Undo runs before anything happens.
How to use Confirm cards with undo
Ask for a send
By voice or by typing.
Check the card
Click any field to edit it. Recipients are chips you can change.
Send or change it
Press Return, or say a change like "make it 1pm".
Undo in 3 seconds
Press Esc while the ring counts down and nothing is sent.
What you say, what it shows
Gmail
You say
“Email Sam about lunch tomorrow”
Speechy shows
Gmail's compose window with To, subject and body. Send, Save draft or Cancel.
Linear
You say
“File an urgent bug”
Speechy shows
The issue as Linear shows it. Once it's made, its number and an Open button.
Slack
You say
“Tell launch war room I'm ten minutes late”
Speechy shows
The message, with a channel menu you can change before it sends.
Questions
Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Google Calendar, Linear, GitHub, Notion, Google Drive, X, iMessage and Reminders. Other apps show a plain confirm card.
The undo is the 3 seconds before it runs. Once the countdown ends, the action is done in the app.
Only for actions you set to Always. Once a request has read someone else's words, like an email, every change in that request shows its card anyway.
In Gmail, yes. Save draft puts the same email in your drafts and sends nothing.
