App Context
App Context lets Speechy use the text near your cursor and the names in the window you're dictating into, so names, products and file names come out spelled the way they are on screen. It's on by default on your Mac, password fields are never read, and window text is never saved.
How to use App Context
Leave it on
App Context is on by default in Settings, Personalize.
Dictate as usual
Speechy looks at the text near your cursor and in the window.
Names come out right
What you say snaps to the spelling on screen.

Questions
No. Window text is only used as spelling hints for that dictation and is never saved. The app's name may show next to the dictation in History.
No. Secure fields, and everything inside them, are always skipped.
Turn off App Context in Settings, Personalize. That also stops screen, Contacts, project and correction context. To keep it on but skip certain apps, add them to Excluded apps.
