History limit and auto-delete
Speechy can keep your dictation history short on your Mac. Set a History limit to keep only your newest entries, or pick Auto-delete recordings to move older ones, with their audio, to Recently deleted.

Questions
No. Entries move to Recently deleted, where you can restore them. They're only gone when you empty Recently deleted.
No. Stats keep their own count of words and days, so trimming History never lowers them.
Both apply. If you set two ages, the shorter one wins.
